Nuru (Light in Swahili) Youth Collectiv is a dedicated and passionate nonprofit organization committed to youth empowerment and alleviating unemployment among young people in South Africa.
Our mission is to equip and inspire the youth with the necessary skills and support to become successful entrepreneurs and embrace opportunities in the digital transformation era.
Through our school interventions, we work closely with learners in both secondary and high schools, providing comprehensive training in entrepreneurship and digital transformation. Recognizing that early intervention is key, we empower young students with skills and knowledge that go beyond the traditional curriculum, cultivating innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset from a young age.
For those young individuals leaving school, we offer targeted training programs that prepare them for the ever-evolving job market. By equipping them with digital skills and exposing them to the potential of entrepreneurial ventures, we empower them to navigate the dynamic economic landscape and create their own opportunities. Mentorship and coaching play a vital role in our organization.
