Alleviating Unemployment - Empowering Youth & Women with Skills for a Thriving Future.

 To empower African women & youth through comprehensive skills development programs that promote entrepreneurship and innovation, ultimately enabling them to address and reduce unemployment. 

1. To reach 100 000 youth aged 18 - 35 in townships, rural and peri urban areas 2030. 
2. To build capacity, through training and skills development of 10 000 youth by 2030. 
3. To place 1 000 youth in companies across the country by 2030. 
4. To support the start up of 100 youth businesses in the townships, rural areas and peri urban areas by 2030. 
5. To offer mentorship, coaching & entrepreneurial support to women entrepreneurs from previously disadvantaged communities and rural areas.

We encourage partnerships with local businesses and organizations to create internship and mentorship opportunities, fostering a supportive ecosystem for young entrepreneurs.

We promote a culture of innovation by providing resources and platforms for youth to brainstorm, develop, and pitch their business ideas.

4. Sustainability and Social Responsibility: 

We foster an awareness of sustainable practices and social entrepreneurship, whereby young leaders create impact-driven businesses that contribute positively to their communities.

5. Inclusive Growth: 

We commit to reach and empower youth from diverse backgrounds, particularly those in disadvantaged areas, to ensure equal opportunities for success and personal development. 

1. Skills Development:

- We provide targeted training in high-demand skills areas like digital literacy, technical trades, and entrepreneurial leadership.

- We have developed workshops focusing on critical and innovative thinking, self leadership, mastery and professional impressions. 

2. Entrepreneurial Support:

- Establish an incubation hub for young entrepreneurs to develop business ideas.

- We provide mentorship from industry leaders and access to business start-up tools and other incubation programs. 

3. Community Engagement:

- We partner with local businesses for internship and apprenticeship opportunities in previously disadvantaged communities to provide work readiness initiatives. 

- We organize and host community forums and networking events to foster collaboration.

4. Advocacy and Awareness:

- We promote the importance of skills development in economic discussions through carefully curated thought leadership dialogues and events. 

- We campaign and contribute for policy changes that support youth-led enterprises.

1. Innovate to Lead Workshops:

- We host bi-monthly workshops that provide hands-on training in entrepreneurship, digital marketing, self mastery, unleashing human potential, Long lasting perfect impressions and sustainable practices.

2. Nuru Start-up Challenge:

- We have the annual competition where youth can pitch entrepreneurial projects to a panel of judges and win seed funding.

3. Digital Resource Library Application:

- We will develop an online platform with resources, tutorials, and e-learning courses accessible to all participants. 

4. Nuru Mentorship Program:

- We pair young adults with mentors from various industries for ongoing personal and professional development for a duration of 12 months. 

5. Siyakhuluma - Let’s talk series: 

We host quarterly thought leadership conversation and podcast on matters affect youth, with leaders and policymakers in order to address systematic barriers affecting young people in the country.

6. Annual Youth Leadership Hike

We encourage youth to connect with nature and prioritize their health, while giving them exposure to different environments and ways of life.

7. Annual Youth Leadership Camp

We host host an immersive camp that bring together youth from across different regions who demonstrate leadership potential.
